The church is the body of Christ, “the fulness of Him who fills all in all” (Eph 1:23), and of which He is the head, “from whom the whole body is nourished and knit together…” (Col. 2:19)
I say this as I sit here skipping church because I’m unhappy with some of the things going on at our church….
Talk about convicting!!
Thank you for your comment! I still am not sure how I feel about the quote! For example, your situation where you are unhappy with things that are going on at church. If you go to church because you think you should but aren’t getting the Word because you are distracted by your thoughts and feelings is that any better than staying home and reading your bible and meditating on your own? No convicting, just asking! 🙂
